An image revolving in the web reportedly showing a five megabyte (yes, just 5 MB!) hard drive being transported by IBM in 1956.

5 MB could be considered virtually the size of an mp3 song today.  Imagine if you wanted to store, say a movie, or even a TV show episode.  An average one hour episode of Perry Mason series, which was popular during the time, could use well above 300 MB or about 60 of those gigantic hard drives in the picture put together.
